Alex is a native of Pasadena, California, and lived to be raised in her home in the Los Angeles suburb of Hancock Park. Her father was the Dr. Charles B. Witt. The doctor is well-known as a Los Angeles thoracic surgeon. Colette Witt was her mother. Charles Witt, her oldest brother. Walter Witt is her younger sister. Witt may also be linked with George Washington, the first President of the United States. Witt is the descendant of George Washington and a member of the National Society of Washington Family Descendants. Witt is engaged to Bill Sorensen (a television producer), Caroline Sorensen is the couple's daughter. Charlie Sorensen is the couple's son.Alex Witt is engaged to Bill Sorensen, a well-known television producer. The couple is happily married and are blessed with two kids, whose names are Charlie Sorensen (Son) and Caroline Sorensen (Daughter).
