Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini an entrepreneur. She is of Italian, German (from the paternal grandmother), Irish and Scottish descendance. Linda was born in the San Francisco Bay region, California as the youngest out of four siblings. As a teenager, she became interested in acting after she sang in a school Christmas play. She did school and community productions. Linda went to Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, California. She had to choose among New York for theater and Los Angeles for film and TV after graduating. She decided to go to LA. Linda was initially cast as a character on Bone Chillers (1996). Her first big break came when she was cast on Freaks and Geeks (1999). She portrayed the academic athletic decathlete Lindsay Weir on the celebrated series, which won the Emmy Award in the Category of Outstanding Casting in the Comedy Series

Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (born 5 April 1989) is better known under her stage title Lily James, is an English actor from England. She received her training at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama and made her debut on the British television show Just William (2010). Cinderella (2015) was her debut film after she was the lead actress in Lady Rose MacClare (2012-2015) in Downton Abbey, the period drama. James was later cast as the the Countess Natasha Rostova, in the version on television of War & Peace, in 2016. She also appeared in a number of films. This includes the action film Baby Driver (2017) and the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018 and 2021) and musicals Mamma Mia! We Go Again 2018 and Yesterday (2019). Her performance as Pamela Anderson in the biographical show Pam & Tommy (2022) was nominated for a Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy Award.
