Singer and actress and writer Jana Kramer rose to fame in the world of television when she joined the crew in One Tree Hill as Alex in its final three seasons. The first two albums she made as a country artist included in episodes of the series helping her debut album, titled "Eponymous," in the top 20 on the Billboard 200. Thirty One from 2015 reached number ten. It was the end of the decade with appearances in Dancing with the Stars, Television films, and other singles not from the album. In 2021, The Self-Doubting Voices came out. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native, who grew up in the country genre. Although she pursued an acting and recording career but her first screen appearance took place in the independent horror movie Dead/Undead (2002) in the midst of being at high school. Following a couple of guest appearances on All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed Noelle Davenport's recurring role in NBC Friday Night Lights in the show's 2nd season 2007-2008. Kramer next appeared in 90210 as Portia Randson from 2008-2009, and as Brooke Manning for Entourage 2009. Then in 2009, she was part of One Tree Hill's ensemble with the character Alex Dupre. Kramer remained in the character until the middle of the last season One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer During her run on the show Kramer has signed a record deal to Elektra Records and debuted the modern country song I Won't Give Up on a 2011 episode of One Tree Hill. The song was later featured on Jana Kramer, her debut album released in 2012. The track ranked fifth in the Billboard Top Country Albums. Kramer continued to appear in films like Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would be appealing to her fanbase. Kramer has released her sophomore album Thirty One with Warner Music Nashville in October 2015. Alongside The Top Five country hit I Got the Boy as well as a duet with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it did even better, reaching the top spot of 3 on the national albums chart, and tenth in the Billboard 200. In September 2016, her time on the 23rd Season of Dancing with the Stars lasted two months before ending with a 4th place finishing. She also scored an adult contemporary smash by singing the track Feels Like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
